Ampire started doing business in1985 and is nowadays a medium-sized enterprise, which specializes in the production of displays. With more than 15 years experience in the field of manufacturing displays, Ampire has built an enormous technological knowledge.

In 2000 the company started to expand its business powerfully. As a result, Ampire established a second production facility in China in 2002 and started mass production of color STN and TFT LCD modules in 2003. Due to this expansion, Ampire reached a turnover of more than 40 million US Dollar in 2003.

Nevertheless the actual strength is the orientation towards the customer. Ampire has its own R&D department which enables the company to develop, design, manufacture and deliver customer applications in short time.

This focus on the customer is the core competence of the organisation, makes it appeal attractive for its customer and is one of the keys for its success.
