The three letters CJE stands for Chang Jiang Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. The company has its headquarters including the production facilities in Jiangyin which is located in the Chinese province Jiangsu.

CJE has put its focus on the manufacture of IC's, Diodes, transistors and voltage regulators. In 1972, the year where Chang Jiang Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was established, the company started with the production of transistors.

1986 CJE implemented an automatic production line for semiconductors and in the course of 1989 an automatic production line for IC's went into service. The following historical excerpt documents impressively the outstanding success of CJE.

The company closed a transaction with Philips to build up and run an IC company in 1995. Only one year later CJE obtained the ISO 9002 certificate for quality management. The two major awards "China Top 10 Brand of Semiconductor" and "AAA Grade of China Enterprises with Best Image" were given to CJE in 2000. Additionally the enterprise passed ISO 14001 in 2002 and has been awarded with the title "China Top 100 Electronics Enterprise".

To put it bluntly, one can say that Changjiang Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. is a top-notch company to which Western quality, management and service standards can be applied with no doubt.
 
CJE's headquarters covers a total space of 120.000 square meters of which 80.000 are for production purposes only. Of the overall number of 2800 staff members, 40 percent are technicians or engineers. They all follow the ideal of CJE, "to improve the performance of the staff, the products and the company itself simultaneously".

Nowadays the company even founded an own university to guarantee that young professionals are available when needed and to secure the innovativeness of Changjiang Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.

In 2004 CJE reached an output of 15 billions discrete components and 2,5 billions IC's. This marks the peak of the company's output since its foundation.

Another hint for the great performance of CJE can be found in the fact that the company produces discrete components and IC's for Fairchield Semiconductor and for SGS Thomson.

The goal for future development was set high accordingly: "Our aim is to grow into a world-class semiconductor manufacturer."
